Sunday Silly: Caption This Contest

Since the Smartini girls are some fierce competitors, I'm giving you our very first* contest. Caption this photo of my dog that I took yesterday morning after my shower. I'll announce the winner on Wednesday night, and they will be able to submit any question to this barmaid to be answered at my next shift.**

(Your Caption Here!)

* Right? Have we had other contests? I can't remember, too lazy to check. I'm sure my fellow tenders of the bar will correct me if I'm wrong!*
**This may be an abuse of the Smartini forum, but what the heck? It's Sunday night. I adore this picture and thought some of you might find it humorous as well. (Actually, there is a series of three separate expressions, this one being the first.) Please note: He was not locked in his crate, just enclosed in a smaller area - of which his crate is a part - so he doesn't wreak havoc when unsupervised, i.e. see photo. **

21 tips left at the bar:

I don't know if we are allowed to submit answers or not, but I'll throw one out there anyway:

This bear (?) said some pretty ugly things about you and I had to. I just had to.

Yes - all Smartini barmaids are eligible (except me, since that would sort of be cheating)!

I'll tell you what was destroyed after the contest; I hope the mystery(?) will make it more creative.

Further clarifications - no limit on entries, give us all the genius you got. Eligible for "prize" until the moment I publish the winner, sometime Wednesday night, but funny is acceptable anytime here at Smartini.

"Oops. I didn't think you'd be home so soon"

kristin said...

"Gulp."

kristin said...

"Love me, love my antics?"

kristin said...

"Sorry?"

kristin said...

"I *told you I'd miss you" or "I *told you I'd be bored"

kristin said...

Yes, I'm up early, yes there's a break in kayak heats on the Olympics and yes, I'm submitting too many entries. Sorry.

kristin said...

"I didn't mean to, really"

kristin said...

"It was a tough battle, but I won. Aren't you proud of me?"

kristin said...

Geesh, if you're having a contest for the most prolific, annoying new poster - I win! Can I have something cool like a martini glass? Thanks. ;-)

Somebody has to keep up with kwr221 and I'm just the girl to do it!

But the floor was so hard, and my nose was so cold!

How can you get mad at this face?

kristin said...

Megan, I like that one. :-)
My kids pull that s%^& on me.

"Yeah, so, what you going to do about it?!" Because your dog looks like it has attitude!

Keep 'em coming ladies - the more the merrier!

It's the same thing every damn time we bring him to Build A Bear.

I do this kind of shit because I've seen that PETA card in your wallet and know that you wouldn't DARE harm an animal, would you? MWAHAHAHA!

I was reviewing, because I know the contest ends tonight and I have to say, for whatever it's worth: I loved Lorrie's. That made me bust out laughing.

Megan's "how can you get mad at this face" really does suit Masala's adorable look.

kr221 had some good entries, too ("love me, love my antics" and "it was a tough battle, but I won"), and love her enthusiasm and lack of restraint! She surely should get a prize for most submissions.

You know, if I can't be creative myself, I can judge others' attempts.

"So... it's not cotton candy?"

I agree with Andria, LV's made me laugh out loud. All worthy entries, however!
