Today I am Grateful for...

In addition to family, friends, and pets:

* My boss - who lets me do essentially whatever I want to do as long as work gets done - which meant no work today and half day yesterday

* The woodpecker I saw this morning on my walk with Masala

* Making it home without getting in a wreck or seeing one (because people were driving crazy)

* Sunset over the Savannah River

* Starry night in rural Georgia - I don't live in the big city, but there's enough light pollution that I don't get to see the stars like this very often. Awesome.

* My new iPod! It revolutionized my long drive and has changed my life

* Barack Obama

* Anticipation of meeting up with fellow barmaids later on this week - in person!!

* My sister's bed, which is waiting for me as soon as I publish this post

* My parents finally getting DSL (replacing dial-up) and therefore allowing me to publish this post and keep up with NaBloPoMo on my personal blog
