I'd like to preface this post by saying I had approximately 5 99cent margaritas, 3 jello shots, and 2 beers tonight. No worries. Did not drive. Let's get down to it.
The Grit - Veg heaven, but for reals, even carnivores can get their eat on at this Athens staple. It's my second favorite place to eat in the entire world; first being Moroccan Soup Bar in Melbourne, Australia which doesn't really qualify for this post. Best thing about The Grit - CAKE. No joke. They have the best cake I've *ever* had, and trust me, I'm a cake connaisseur. (ps i think i spelled connaisseur right on the first try, even tipsy!)
Clocked - Cheese tots. All you need to know.
Bluegrass Grill and Bakery - aaahhh. My favorite place in Charlottesville. They specialize in breakfast/brunch and do not disappoint. It's a place vegs like me and traditionalists like my dad can meet in the middle for awesome food. So fantastic even the New York Times mentions it.
Himalyan Fusion - Gotta represent the "Indian" food part of me. Indian food is my favoritest of favorite foods. Himalayan Fusion is a combo of Indian, Nepalese, and Thai. Mouth is watering just thinking about this Charlottesville place. Not as good as Bombay Cafe, the best Indian food ever tasted which no longer exists, but the closest I've come in the Western hemisphere.
1 tips left at the bar:
I must visit this Athens place you people speak of, one day.
