PSA: Sweet Tea Vodka

Firefly Ladies, are you aware of Firefly’s existence? Distilled in South Carolina, it’s vodka that tastes like SWEET TEA. I’m drinking it presently, and it’s q.u.i.t.e tasty. The bottle says to serve it 1:1, water to Firefly, but I’ll go ahead and say more like 4:1… unless you’re interested in sprouting chest hair. If you go 4:1, it looks and tastes pretty well like sweet tea. Except with a mighty fine buzz to go along with the innocuous flavor.

Here’s to a headache-free Sunday morning, I hope!

Maybe everyone is too hung over to think about this AWESOME INVENTION until Monday or Tuesday..
I am SO buying some if I see it, but heres the question
the stronger you make it, the more it tastes like sweet tea? Or vice versa? hell, I'll figure it out....

I'm saying! It really is good stuff. And the weaker you make it, the more it tastes like sweet tea--but since it's basically pure vodka with flavor, dilution will not affect your chances of a good buzz. :)

We LOVE this stuff. We mixed it with Chick-fil-A lemonade to make drunken Arnold Palmer's at the Georgia-Florida game. After a few drinks, "Drunken Arnold Palmer" didn't roll off the tongue as well as we wanted, so we just started calling them John Daly's.

many, many moons ago I was introduced to a drink called the Ice Pick at a fabulous little pub in Annapolis, MD. It was vodka mixed with iced tea (sweet or unsweet, with lemon or mint or whatever). It was so good -- you could drink it all day long with very few repercussions (I think). Also, unless you started slurring, no one knew it wasn't just TEA! This makes me think of that...
