To Infinity. . and beyond!

Hubby helped me think of the personifications (cartoonifications?) of our beloved Boss the Boxer and haunting Hank the Hound and I have to admit, it's pretty dead on. Boss IS Buzz Lightyear and Hank IS Woody.

Boss is the handsome, charismatic, stocky, chiseled movie star. He's immediately everyone's favorite. He's a bit on the goofy side and innocently naive, choosing to believe that he has a laser and has fought the aliens. If his laser doesn't kill it or his jet pack doesn't engage, then he's at a loss. His slobber might be lethal in the doses he gives, though. He doesn't know enough to be scared, and he thinks everyone is his friend. "Oh love me, love me, love me." and "wanna play?" are his refrains. He's our prince, so effortlessly regal. Curious George, wants to know what we're doing with him next. He looks intimidating to some because of his stature, but he truly is a lover, not a fighter.

Hank on the other hand, is definitely the lanky cowboy. He's not in the same upper social circle, preferring to be outside, watching the world and keeping the herds/toys in line. He's agile and quick to adapt. He's intelligent and cunning, with a colored and mysterious past. He's intense, scrappy and a little neurotic even at times, but when it comes down to it, he's just a lovable guy that wants to be allowed back in the bed and heart of Andy. Hank is without a doubt, our snuggle buddy.

In our situation, Boss was first and Hank came second, but he still managed to have the same cast aside, in his shadow affect as Woody. But they end up the best of buddies.
