Other than the blogs I check obsessively and the endless browsing I do online (usually stores that are also brick and mortar and local that I can get into and actually try stuff on - Target, oldnavy, kohls, bedbathandbeyond, babiesrus ) or checking registries, these are the main sites I visit regularly. They are mostly information, surprisingly, but personal information, not news-related. And they probably aren't new or exciting for anyway, but it's what I use regularly.

*wikipedia I learned about Wikipedia from Niki's blog (yes, she who started it all) I remember the first post she made reference to it, I was so lost and confused, even when I clicked on it, I still couldn't figure out what it was at first, but it is oh so useful to me now.

*dictionary.com I tend to get words mixed up or forget exactly what I'm trying to. .um. . .what's the word? right, communicate. So this is a quick site I can go to check a definition or spelling, etc. They also have a thesaurus, which is useful and a WOD, but not as cool as ours.

*switchboard.com When I am looking for a phone number or address for people or businesses.

*snapfish.com I LOVE pictures and this is a great site for storing and sharing. I've used them for years, even back in the day when I had to mail in my film (I think I still have lots of prepaids, BTW, if anyone still uses film and needs to get some developed!) The prices are good, especially if you prepay and you can also order and pick up at Wal-green's if you don't want to wait for it to be shipped (which is what I do for Christmas cards, because I'm usually late getting those ordered and don't have time to wait.) They have lots of neat products as well. I do a calendar every year and have ordered "black" coffee mugs where Sweet Pea's picture magically appears when the hot coffee is in the mug for grandparents, coasters, etc.

*georgia-navigator This is a GREAT little gem, that perhaps if you don't know about and you travel to Atlanta ever, you will be excited to learn about. It shows traffic on the main Interstates (85, 75, 285) Green=things are moving, Yellow=slowing down, some congestion and Red=stopped. You can also click on the road signs and see what they are reporting (Exit xx 7 miles ahead, travel time 18-20 minutes) They are finally updating it to show all of 285 and other useful areas, so it will be even more complete.

*mapquest.com I know there are issues sometimes with needing to take a "slight left" which actually translate into um, you mean a RIGHT? and some people use googlemaps now I think, but I still go to Mapquest when I need to find out how to get somewhere.
