The wording is very important because being a superhero and having a super power - two very different things.
As far as super-powers go, I'd love to be able to fly and
to teleport (a la Andria). However, if I'm a superhero, I'm gonna need to use my powers for good, and a) I'm not sure how much good a flying person can do without super-strength and b) I'd be WAY too selfish with the teleporting to get anything productive done.As a superhero, I'd most want to fight crimes against nature, crimes against the earth, crimes against animals. That's why I created TERRA MADRE - She's part tail-y creature, part bird (she can fly!), and part human. She's very "earthy" but due to her sexy, hot pink hair, she's not really a fan of the color green. It washes her out.
Terra can communicate with animals and plants alike. You can find her bounding through the Serengti, hugging trees, soaring above the skies, frolicking in a field of daisies, or even cruising with the fish in the sea.
Got an oil spill? She's your girl.
Polar bears in distress? This woman will kick some greenhouse gas-s.
King Kong and Godzilla roughin' up your 'hood? Her wily ways have it under control.
*I know, I know - totally predictable and a little lame. I'd like to give a shout-out to Jeff who came up with a fabulous power, but I couldn't create a backstory to do it justice. His idea goes back to the old question "If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? The super-power is the ability to conjure a person, dead or alive, and get their sage advice on a tough situation, i.e. Gandhi, Shakespeare, Hulk Hogan, Jesus (perhaps not in that order). Great power, great idea, inability to execute on my part. P.S. I totally didn't mean to steal part of everyone's outfit. Whoops. Will try better next time. Promise.

I know red and green go well together, but maybe hot pink and green could be too 90's - like Maurice's, remember that store? for some reason that's what the color combination conjured up.
(I totally saw that I stole parts of everyone else's outfits, too, after I created my own! Too funny.)
Of course this would be your power! I agree, you are so thoughtful to think of the earth. Maybe Fun Girl could come by and give TM a shot or two while she works?
