Recently I was chatting with a friend who works in the public school system and she informed me that the old 'gifted' program for advanced students is now called the Pull Out program.
PULL OUT.
I know I'm not the only one with a nasty mind that thinks this is nuts, am I? I can just hear it now:
"My kid is in the Pull Out program!"
"Johnny doesn't like Pull Out very much."
"I just love what those teachers are doing during Pull Out."
"I got pregnant with Sally Sue because we thought it was safe to just ..." Oh, wait!
Who came up with this? Had they ever had sex ed? Failed it? WTF.
