Are You Gonna Take It?

Does anyone else find it hysterical that the Twisted Sister anti-authority anthem "We're Not Gonna Take It" has been co-opted by the birth control pill Yaz? What does Dee Snyder think about this paradigm shift from hating your parents to hating your period? I don't know about you, but even with shorter, lighter periods, I feel more like a Twisted Sister than the perky pretty gals bouncing through the commercial. Rock on.

2 tips left at the bar:

I find it ironic that they chose "We're not gonna take it anymore" for something you have to take everyday?!
And, YAZ? really? that's the best they could do? makes me want to yak.

Yes, I seriously think whoever came up with that campaign completely missed the paradox. No, we ARE going to take it, you mean?!

I used to think I had PMDD, back in college. It made me feel a lot like that photo.
